"Being a designer means transforming complex challenges into beautiful solutions."
- Pernille Fristad

Welcome!
My name is Pernille Fristad, and I am a award winning experienced designer. My career began in 2012 when I designed and developed my first website for my own fashion brand, Kepaza, which grew into an international brand. I am now deep diving into working as a UX Designer and I will soon graduate from Noroff as a UX Designer.

The Golden Needle

So, how does a fashion designer become a UX designer?

I have been lucky to experience a lot of exciting things in my life and creating websites for Kepaza sparked a passion for web design and digital experiences.
This led me to a role as a Marketing and Communication Manager for dbanQ and Qlorem, where I developed websites alongside branding and content creation and strategies. I have also fully designed or redesigned websites for Sirenes.no, FristadFilm.com and Kjaerlighetsterapeuten.com.

Now pursuing a UX Design program at Noroff, I’m eager to apply my creativity and user-focused approach to crafting seamless digital experiences. I’m also currently working with a startup on an upcoming app, set to launch soon.
My values
Passion drives me
My biggest passion is to create the best user experience for the project I am working on.
Never Stop Growing
I am always trying to improve myself and learn something new. Thankfully, I am a quick learner.
Problem solving
I love solving problems by finding the pain points and making the designs even better.
My Projects
Check out my two amazing use cases of my work! They perfectly showcase my diverse skills and the exciting challenges I love solving.

In this project, my team and I designed a onboarding for the start-up SaaS company Trustpulse. We found out their pain points and there for created a new Homepage with four steps and a pop-up modal checklist that includes the same four steps. The Homepage becomes an explore page when the steps are finished.

My team and I created an exercise app named StrongMama for women who has just given birth and want to start exercising again. We created everything from onboarding, to login, a Q & A to understand their needs and to the exercise flow. We created the app in low-fidelity wireframes.
